Fitly is a connector: your assistant talks to it on your behalf. You add it once, sign in with your Fitly account when asked, and approve the access.
https://api.getfitly.app/mcpEach assistant has its own place to add a custom connector (also called a custom MCP server). Whether that option appears depends on the assistant, your plan and any workspace or organisation settings; Fitly cannot turn it on for you. The vendor pages below are the authoritative instructions and change more often than this guide.
Open Plugins, choose + then Add custom MCP server, paste the HTTPS address, select OAuth, review the tools it offers, and create it as a plugin. Then enable it in a conversation.
Open settings, find Connectors, choose to add a custom connector and paste the address. Claude will ask you to connect your Fitly account the first time you use it.
On grok.com open Connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom, and paste the address. This is separate from the Grok Bot marketplace, where Fitly is not listed.
Fitly is not yet published in any assistant’s directory. When a listing is approved it will be announced here, with the official link. Until then, a custom connector is the only supported route.
The first time the assistant uses Fitly, it opens a Fitly sign-in page. Enter your email and password and choose what the assistant may do: read your data, or read and change it. Each assistant gets its own grant, which you can revoke from Connected assistants.
The sign-in page is served by Fitly’s own service, so your password goes only to Fitly. It only opens from an assistant’s connection request; there is no standalone link to it.
Fitly’s instructions ask your assistant to check with you when a food or portion is unclear, to mark estimates as estimates, and to report what it saved. Assistants differ, so glance at what came back. If something looks wrong, say so; corrections to a single entry never rewrite your history unless you ask.
